Barcelona, Seville and Costa del Sol?

I am saving for a trip to Spain, but I can not decide where to go outside Barcelona, Seville and Costa the sun What I want out of this trip is a new experience, experiencing a new culture and improve my Spanish course. A travel guide told me that Costa del Sol is better to go, but I do not want to see this as just a vacation, or because I want to go (19-year-old Australian woman) or staying with a family there, depending on location. I would like to experience Christmas restauraunts and pleasant and relaxing on the beach and tourism, shopping, etc in a nice community, but not boring, all on a small budget. (Thousands of dollars) Please help me decide where to go on 3, the advantages and disadvantages of each situation and for any additional information or my experiences. Thank you very much! Moreover, all this will happen in three years. (I have only 16 now). And I will be out of school.

I agree that Barcelona is not the best choice about the language – however, in my opinion anyway. I am a single mother and I went with my daughter. We stayed in a hostel (single room) called Sant Jordi Sagrada Familia 5 strawberries. Public transport is very easy to use, and there is plenty to do including the beautiful beaches! It's true what they say to watch for pickpockets at any time, but I felt completely safe, no matter the hour. Enjoy the journey, wherever you go! Oh – and get information about street festivals. We stopped in a shop before dinner Churro and asked the woman (in Spanish) when he was close. She just smiled and said (in Spanish), "Tomorrow!"
